Caffe Santa Casa

Caffe Santa Casa (CSC) is a modern Italian café located in Heiligenhaus, offering traditional specialties with a contemporary twist. The brand identity draws inspiration from vintage Italian Art Deco posters, reimagined with a minimalist design approach. The custom SANTA CASA wordmark is paired with clean linework and the Poppins typeface for clarity and consistency across all materials.
The visual language references the café’s own architecture, with a logo structure inspired by the building’s form. A bold color palette was chosen to reflect the variety of coffee blends and enhance brand recognition.

The branding extends into the menu design, which features geometric illustrations inspired by retro Italian tiles. These elements create a relaxed, editorial feel and help guide guests through the drink offerings.

For CSC’s packaged coffee line, a modular label system was designed using a 6x8 tile grid. Each of the three blends is color-coded to reflect flavor intensity and caffeine content, maintaining consistency while adding visual dynamism.

The website, built with Squarespace, uses full-color blocks and subtle scrolling effects to reflect the brand's warm and personal atmosphere. A simple online shop showcases the coffee products, supported by basic product photography. Local SEO was applied to improve visibility—resulting in a first-page Google ranking for “Café Heiligenhaus.
