BVG Verkehrsschule
Starting next year, the Berliner Verkehrsgesellschaft plans to expand its project, the BVG Verkehrsschule, and bring it to all kindergartens and primary schools in Berlin. The main aim of the project is to help small children learn and understand public transit rules and safety in Berlin, achieved by designing two handbooks along with cards and other print materials to bring the larning material to life. Using the already familiar "Supergelben" as mascots for the project, the goal was to provide children with an interactive and experience-rich learning session, while still making the content printable and accessible for every child.

The Handbooks
The books were designed in A4 format to allow teachers to easily photocopy them and hand them out to the children as worksheets.
Inside the book, simple illustrations depict traffic situations to help children better understand the rules of Berlin’s public transport system.
This led to the design of the BVG handbook with a simple and readable layout that leaves plenty of room for drawing and notes, yet still maintains BVG’s recognizable brand identity.

Additional Print Materials
In addition to the books, materials such as memory cards, membership cards, masks, and a timetable showing the route from home to school were also created.
